Happy Moment of the Day
So I'm in the line at subway just ordering my delicious Oven Roasted Chicken Breast sandwich, making small talk with my sandwich maker (She's from Oregon!!! :)). I get up to pay for my sandwich and contemplate weather or not to get the pop and chips or be cheap when the lady in the back yells to my cashier "Her order is already paid for!". I was surprised and confused, so was my cashier. The lady in the back came out and said "Your sandwich is already paid for and you get a pop and chips. Have a good day". The nice man that was in front of me paid for my order! It was so sweet! Made my whole day. I have that "Pay it Forward" attitude... Gonna go make someone else smile now :)

The things that make me Happy.
So Today has sucked. Majorly...But I've decided to post about some things that make me Happy... In hopes to actually MAKE me happy. So here we go.
A picture is worth a thousand words and these pictures mean more to me than that. I am so grateful for the people I have in my life. They are my strength and my Beacon. They are the light in the dark. Christ has become so much more important to me this semester. He is not only my Savior, but my friend. I cannot wait for Fall! I keep looking outside waiting for the leaves to start changing. I'm so grateful for the Scriptures as well as the Power of the Priesthood, Without them I would be lost. These are the things that make my life beautiful. Tomorrow is a new day, hopefully a better one.
(p.s These things are in no particular order :))

Quote of the Day
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. -Marianne Williamson

The start of something new
Oh goodness! It's been too long since I've blogged! Well my first semester of Sophomore year has officially started! We are two weeks in and it's been pretty great! We've seen Kris and Dustin ever single day since school has started. It's been a lot of fun having them around, even if Kris has alternative motives for coming over (it starts with an 'M' and ends in an 'ichelle') haha But it's been fun watching those two :) Anyways.... Really not much has happened. On Friday (the 17th) I played tennis with Matt and two other people and that was a lot of fun! Oh my goodness! How could I forget????? Kris and Jacob are ENGAGED!!!!! He asked her the day before school started, so that was Wednesday the 8th!!! It was so cute. He put the ring in a box of cereal and she pored it out and there popped the ring :) it was great! I'm very happy for those two! Our dearest old roommate Emily has graced us with her presence the last two weekends, which has been WONDERFUL the first weekend we went to Applebees with most of my new roommates and a few other friends. It was a lot of fun. Then this last satureday she came over and we all went and played WALLEYBALL!!!!! Oh goodness I LOVE that game. Even though I hit the ball to hard and just suck at it. It's still a lot of fun! It's mostly the people that you play it with though that make it fun. We started off with Matt, Nate, Michelle, Kris, Dustin, Emily, Ashley(Matt and Nate's old FHE sister) Brianna and Me. Brianna left before the game even really got started because our friend Zach called her to play soccer. It was a lot of fun! They then came over for dinner and just kinda hung out. Sunday was wonderful! My AWESOME home teachers came over and taught with the spirit, like always :) I went to Stadium singing with Nate and Matt, that was SO much fun but it was super hot! After Stadium singing they came over and Michelle told them her most embarrassing moment... it was HILARIOUS!! :)
School is school. I really thought I was going to love this semester but its really just starting to frustrate me. My classes are kinda a let down... Well some of them are. But others are really great. I'm just hoping it gets better! Tonight I went to Matt and Jons first Ultimate Frisbee game and it was awesome!! They WON!!!!! It was Matt's first time winning a game and I was so happy for them! :) All is good in Shelby World.... For now :)
