Quote(s) of the Day
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. -- Theodore Roosevelt
What most people need to learn in life is how to love people and use things instead of using people and loving things. -- Author Unknown
Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought. -- Albert Gyorgyi

Les Miserables
So I have found my new obsession. Les Miserables. This last Wednesday (Nov 17th) Jenna, Jon, Todd and I went to Idaho Falls and saw the 25th Anniversary Concert for Les Miserables that happened on October 3rd in London. It was AMAZING!!! And it was JUST the music! It wasn't even really the play. I fell in love. The music moved my and I now HAVE to see the play! It's coming to Salt Lake City in April and Portland in August, guess who's going to at least one of those showings! Yup you guessed it, ME!!!! :) Oh man I'm so excited! For now Youtube will be my friend and show me all these wonderful video's :)
Catching up...
Oh man I have some catching up to do, well, not a ton but some! So last weekend I went to Utah for the first time! Well I've been to Utah like 3 times but for very short periods of time each, so this was my first extended time in Utah. It was lots of fun! We went down to see my FHE Dad Parker compete in a dance competition. He did wonderful even though he didn't win! Michelle and I stayed with my good friend Trisha who I know from back home! Friday we hung out with Michelle's friend Braden and that was fun. Kinda weird because I don't know him, but it was still fun. Then Saturday Michelle and I hung out with my good buddy Josh Cory! Oh it was so much fun! He is so wonderful and I missed him so much! We went to this wonderful restaurant that served YUMMY sandwiches and soup! Oh it was grand! Then we went to this gillato shop and to his house for a split second. I was so glad I got to catch up with him!! After we got done hanging out with Josh we headed to Parkers dance competition. It was way cool watching all the dancers! BYU Provo is so big! I was in shock. No joke. I'm glad I go to BYU-Idaho, it's definatley where I'm supposed to be. After Parker's dance stuff Michelle and I went back to Trisha's and watched Sweet Home Alabama. It was just a relaxing weekend. Then Sunday we went to SALT LAKE CITY!!! I've never been there before so I begged Parker to stop so we could see the Temple. It was so much fun! Oh my goodness I loved it. But it was nice to get back to Rexburg to my sweet little apartment, and I missed Brianna :)
We hadn't gotten a picture yet and I was leaving and she had JUST woken up, so we took a silly picture. This is what the outcome was :)

20 Candles (Pictures for Angela ;))
So this weekend was kinda crazy! Friday morning at 5:30 AM my phone went off, it was time to head to the Temple. It was glorious. A Good first NON-Teenager decision to make :) Then I came home and went back to bed, another great decision. Deciding that it was my birthday and since my science class wasn't taking attendance that day... it was a good day to skip. haha So I spent a relaxing day full of movies, sleeping, staying in my p.j's and getting a massage!!! At 7:30 we and my great friends headed out to Texas Roadhouse! Only the BEST restaurant ever! So yummy :) Then we headed back to Rexburg and watched Italian Job. I have such amazing friends. Seriously! Then Saturday Brianna and I had our date for the Date Auction our ward had. We had the best dates AND the best date idea! Danny and Sterling are the funniest people we know :) We decorated ours and theirs apartment for CHRISTMAS! Oh it was grand. Our apartment looks amazing...We still gotta do some work on theirs! Saturday Night Michelle and I went on a date with Jon and Todd and Lynden and his date. It was a lot of fun! Mini-Golfing, McDonalds ice cream and Enchanted. So fun. Stake Conference was Sunday, it was pretty great. Even with Jacob talking my ear off ;) After stake conference we headed back to our apartment, got all comfy and watched Leap Year with Nate. It was a lot of fun. There was a CES fireside that night and my Home Teachers came over. It was a busy weekend and it was so much fun!
How I feel about you...
"I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all." - 10 Things I Hate About You
Maybe if You're Lucky...You wont be a teen anymore!
Ahhhh the joys of having a Birthday. It's a new year, a new start, a new you. You are no longer what you were just 24 hours earlier and you get to decide what you do with the next 365 days. For me, I'm deciding to become better. I've just been thinking a lot about where I am in my life and who I'm becoming. It's not bad, but it may or may not be what I want to be. So this next year, I'm going to find out who I am. I'm going to live. It's time I start being who I want to be. It's time I start being brave, experiencing life and not always doing what others expect. I'm going to wear my heart on my sleeve, be bold, tell the truth and just be me. I'm a little nervous to see how that goes. With my luck, next year I'll be posting something similar, but hopefully some of my goals will be accomplished. So in the next 362 days I'm going to:
*Laugh more than Cry
*Say what I mean
*Be more cautious with my heart
*Take a trip and I mean a big trip. Somewhere besides Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah
*Discover a talent of mine
*Enjoy work
*Figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.
*Be more frugal with my money
*Learn how to cook well
Those are just a few.... So Happy Birthday to me, may this year be a good learning experience.

Dear Guy that sits in front of me,
You are annoying. Seriously. When you talk I just want to rip my hair out. The rude comments you make, make me want to stand up and say something. Seriously. This is BYU-Idaho. Grow up. You are in college, and married. Don't you think it's time you did stop pretending you're in high school? Stop flirting with that girl you sit next too, she's not your wife. I think it's weird when you show her pictures of your wife then whisper what you find are funny things to her. They aren't. Seriously. The next time you make a rude comment about someone being fat, I think I'm going to explode! People like you make me not like this school. So stop. Grow up. Be a man.
Sincerely,
Annoyed onlooker.
